Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

"[file name] is an application you downloaded from the Internet..."

After installing Lion, I get the warning: "[file name] is an application you downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" also when opening audio and video files. Earlier it was just when opening new applications.

Does anyone know of a way to turn these warnings off, they are awfully annoying?

Sorry I don't have a solution for you - but I am very interested to know if there is one!

Both my son and I also have this warning when first opening a new app we have downloaded and installed, and although I have had no trouble with it under Lion (everything proceeds as normal for me), my son now gets the warning with all video and audio files as well - very frustrating!

There must be a trigger somewhere in there! Hopefully someone can help us out!
